        Neon Demon. ‘20

Neon Demon, notes on an encounter, 2020  UV Light reveals hidden things. It is a useful tool in discovering details and colours that exist on other levels to where we normally reside. From taking this light into a dark place, I was confronted by a demon-like figure. Their skin was changing different hues of indigo, and the hair upon their head glowed. Around their eyes were shapes in a neon orange. They played and danced and made no threat to me. I was intrigued by their aura, as I felt a sense of familiarity and comfort with them despite the very threatening setting, as if their movements numbed me to my surroundings, as I became drunk and entranced by their presence. I left feeling as though I would be seeing them again, but I knew I would know when, as looking back I am not sure how they found me in the first place.
